We are proud to announce the launch of the HERO project (Project Code: BSB01238), — Healing Environmental by Reef Options in the Black Sea, implemented under the NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme.

HERO brings together partners of Ukrainian Association of Business Support Centers (Ukraine), Istanbul Planning Agency (Türkiye), Konstantin Preslavsky University of Shumen (Bulgaria) and Batumii Shota Rustaveli State Uniiversity (Georgia).

The project aims to tackle and analyze the issues of ecological problems in Black Sea coastal regions by marine litter  data collection and analysis, habitat degradation assesment, habitat restoration via artificial reefs and public awareness campaigns on responsible waste management.
