Set out with the aim of creating a shared environment of knowledge and experience for the inhabitants of Istanbul, the IPA Istanbul Journal joined the editorial world on the anniversary of the establishment of the Istanbul Planning Agency.

The cover of the first issue of the journal focuses on the effects of the pandemic on urban life. In addition, IPA Istanbul Journal includes articles on many topics from civil society movements to Galataport, from Kanal Istanbul to Istanbul’s ever-present streams, from the impact of climate change on the city’s ecosystem.
